【摘要】:Theresultsobtainedbythesetestmethodsshouldserveasaguidein,butnotasthesolebasisfor,selectionofachemical-resistantmaterialforaparticularapplication.Noattempthasbeenmadetoincorporateintothesetestmethodsallthevariousfactorsthatmayaffecttheperformanceofamaterialwhensubjectedtoactualservice.Thestrengthvaluesobtainedbythesetestmethodsshouldnotbeusedtoevaluatethecompressivestrengthofchemical-resistantmaterials.TheappropriateASTMtestmethodforthespecificmaterialshouldbeusedfordeterminingandevaluatingthecompressivestrength.1.1Thesetestmethodsareintendedtoevaluatethechemicalresistanceofresin,silica,silicate,sulfur,andhydraulicmaterials,grouts,monolithicsurfacings,andpolymerconcretesunderanticipatedserviceconditions.Thesetestmethodsprovideforthedeterminationofchangesinthefollowingpropertiesofthetestspecimensandtestmediumafterexposureofthespecimenstothemedium:1.1.1Weightofspecimen,1.1.2Appearanceofspecimen,1.1.3Appearanceoftestmedium,and1.1.4Compressivestrengthofspecimens.1.2TestMethodAoutlinesthetestingproceduregenerallyusedforsystemscontainingaggregatelessthan0.0625in.(1.6mm)insize.TestMethodBcoversthetestingproceduregenerallyusedforsystemscontainingaggregatefrom0.0625to0.4in.(1.6to1.0mm)insize.TestMethodCisusedforsystemscontainingaggregatelargerthan0.4in.1.3Theunitsstatedaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
