【摘要】:ThispartofISO12217specifiesmethodsforevaluatingthestabilityandbuoyancyofintact(i.e.undamaged)boats.Theflotationcharacteristicsofcraftvulnerabletoswampingarealsoencompassed.TheevaluationofstabilityandbuoyancypropertiesusingthispartofISO12217willenabletheboattobeassignedtoadesigncategory(CorD)appropriatetoitsdesignandmaximumload.ThispartofISO12217isapplicabletoboatsofhulllengthlessthan6m,whetherpropelledbyhumanormechanicalpower,excepthabitablesailingmultihulls.Boatsofhulllengthlessthan6m,whicharefittedwithafulldeckandquick-drainingcockpit(s)complyingwithISO11812,mayalternativelybeassessedusingISO12217-1orISO12217-2(fornon-sailingandsailingboatsrespectively),inwhichcasehigherdesigncategoriesmaybeassigned.ThispartofISO12217excludesaquatictoys,canoes,kayaks,orotherboatswithabeamoflessthan1,1m,inflatableandrigid-inflatableboatsupto8mcoveredbyISO6185,personalwatercraftcoveredbyISO13590,hydrofoilsandhovercraftwhenoperatinginthedynamicallysupportedmode,andsubmersibles.Itdoesnotincludeorevaluatetheeffectsonstabilityoftowing,fishing,dredgingorliftingoperations,whichshouldbeseparatelyconsideredifappropriate.
