【摘要】:Thispracticecoversalaboratoryprocedureforthepreparationofsmallvolumesofmulticomponentliquidblendsforuseasanalyticalstandards.Thispracticeisapplicabletocomponentsthatarenormallyliquidsatambienttemperatureandpressure,orsolidsthatwillformasolutionwhenblendedwithliquids.Butanescanbeincludedifprecautionisusedinblendingthem.Thispracticeislimitedtothosecomponentsthatfulfillthefollowingconditions:Theyarecompletelysolubleinthefinalblend.Theyarenotreactivewithotherblendcomponentsorwithblendcontainers.Thecombinedvaporpressureoftheblendedcomponentsissuchthatthereisnoselectiveevaporationofanyofthecomponents.Thebutanecontentoftheblendisnottoexceed10%.(Warning:Extremelyflammableliquefiedgasunderpressure.Vaporreducesoxygenavailableforbreathing.)Componentswithavaporpressurehigherthanbutanesarenottobeblended.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
