【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesdimensionaltablesforexternalandinternalplasticflowinterference-fit(Class5)threadsofmodifiedNationalthreadforminthecoarsethreadseries(NC)insizes0.250in.through1.500in.ThisisnottheANSIB1.lUNthreadform.ItisintendedthatdesignsconformingwiththisStandardwillprovideadequatetorqueconditionswhichfallwithinthelimitsshowninTable8.Theminimumtorquesareintendedtobesufficienttoinsurethatexternallythreadedmemberswillnotlooseninservice;themaximumtorquesestablishaceilingbelowwhichseizing,galling,ortorsionalfailureoftheexternallythreadedcomponentsisreduced.ThisStandardprovidesforthemaximumallowableinterference.AppendicesA,B,C,andDcontainusefulinformationthatissupplementarytothisStandard,suchasreprintsoftheobsoletetentativeandalternateClass5standards,U.S.Navyshipspecificationsforelasticinterference-fitcoarsethreadseriesfrom0.250in.through2.000in.,U.S.NavyshipspecificationsforClass5Modifiedwhichincludesnickel-copper-aluminumalloyexternalthreads,andaninterferencemetalcomparisonofstandardtononstandardinterference-fitthreads.
