【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddealsonlywiththesignificanthazardsofmachinesforsurfacecleaningandpre-treatment(inthefollowingcalled"cleaningmachines")ofindustrialitemsusingwaterbasedcleaningliquidsinthemodeofsuspension,solutionordispersionofcompoundsorsubstancesinwaterappliedbyimmersionand/orsprayinginoneormorestages.ThisEuropeanStandardshouldapplyincombinationwithEN12921-1.Bothpartstogethercoverallsignificanthazardsrelevantforcleaningmachinesforindustrialitemsusingliquidsorvapours,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).ThespecificrequirementsspecifiedinthisstandardtakeprecedenceovertherespectiverequirementsinEN12921-1.ThisstandardshouldbeappliedtogetherwithEN12921-3incaseofreleaseofflammablevapoursfromwaterbasedcleaningliquids.ThisEuropeanStandardshouldbeappliedtogetherwithEN12921-3andprEN12921-4incaseofuseofwaterbasedcleaningliquidsofwhichevaporatingcanleadtohazardscausedbyexplosiveatmospheres.Waterbasedcleaningliquidscontainingaquantityofhalogenatedsolventsexceeding2%ofthevolumeareconsideredhazardouswithrespecttothecreationofapotentiallyexplosiveatmosphere.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytomachineryandrelatedequipmentexcludedfromthescopeofEN12921-1.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytocleaningmachinesforindustrialitemsusingwaterbasedcleaningliquidswhicharemanufacturedbeforethepublicationofthisstandardbyCEN.
